The Pattern

Belly Segment (in dark green)

Use dark green yarn to surface-crochet or embroider a horizontal band around the waist indent (between Rounds 11 and 12 of the body). This is Kuchi’s waistband/segment line. A simple row of surface slip stitches works perfectly.

Also add a smaller dark green band around the lower torso (approximately 3 rounds above the bottom) for the second segment line.
