When I was in school science was one of my favorite subjects. I’ve always been nerdy like that. So perhaps it should come as no surprise that when a very punny idea came into my head I ran with it.
Oh no! There is water all over my book!
Random side note, the book pictured is actually an 80s edition of the Encyclopedia of Diseases and Conditions. Fun fact.

Materials Used:
F Hook
1 Ball Red Worsted Weight Yarn
1 Ball White Worsted Weight Yarn
Two 10 MM Safety Eyes
Fiberfill
Tapestry Needle
Stitches Used:
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet
INC – Single Crochet Increase
DEC – Single Crochet Decrease
SLST – Slip Stitch
Hydrogen Atom
Row 1: Create a magic circle and SC 6 into the circle then pull tight. You may also use a CH2 and 6 SC into the first chain then pull tight. Do not join. (6)
Row 2: INC 6 (12)
Row 3: *SC, INC* 6 times (18)
Row 4: *SC 2, INC* 6 times (24)
Row 5-8: SC 24 (24)
Row 9: *DEC, SC 2* 6 times (18)
Row 10: *DEC, SC* 6 times (12)
Row 11: DEC 6, Finish off, stuff with fiberfill, then weave tail through the remaining stitches and pull tight to close. Weave in remaining tail.
Oxygen Atom (Make 2)
Row 1: Create a magic circle and SC 6 into the circle then pull tight. You may also use a CH2 and 6 SC into the first chain then pull tight. Do not join. (6)
Row 2: INC 6 (12)
Row 3: *SC, INC* 6 times (18)
Row 4-6: SC 18 (18)
Row 7: *DEC, SC* (12)
Row 8: DEC 6, Finish off, stuff with fiberfill, then weave tail through the remaining stitches and pull tight to close. Leave a long tail for sewing.
Assembly
Attach the oxygen atoms to the bottom right and left at a 45ish degree angle. Use the pictures above as a guide. Weave in ends.
